Things to do instead of scrolling on you phone

I don’t know if you ever experienced the urge or the reflex to pick up your phone when you have just a few moments of nothing to do. For example, waiting on the bus or just when your partner is going to the toilet (together with their phone).

I definitely have the habit of picking up my phone whenever and lately I’ve felt that it affects my wellbeing and productivity. If you feel the same or just want a challenge so, next time you have a few spare moments try to:

  • Meditate (you don’t need to close your eyes just have a soft focus in from of you)

  • Think about things that you’re grateful of

  • People watch

  • Think about what you’re favourite food is

  • Recall a happy memory

  • Think about what you’ve done today up to this point

  • Do a body scan
