Boboli Gardens

Dear reader,

We've had a real weather backlash. Temperatures have dropped, and the sun makes few appearances. I do long for some warmer winds.

To soften the edges of this grey spell, I’ve been returning—mentally—to our time in Florence, specifically the Boboli Gardens. I can almost smell the citrus in the air, and feel the gravel paths underfoot. It’s amazing how a single thought can warm you, how the scent of imaginary oranges can outshine grey skies.
