A reset weekend

Last week I had a really intensive work week. So much that I almost could smell my brain getting cooked. So I decided to have a slow weekend filled with things I love to do.

My weekend stated with a lovely breakfast. I don’t usually eat avocado due to their high impact on the environment and sometimes ethical issues. But a few times a year I have them. M had also found the first Swedish autumn apples which were truly delicious.

I picked up some books from the library. We have a small library close by so I usually order the books so I can go and pick up them there.

M and I went for coffee. I had a trusty second hand coat and my bag from Bukvy which is a woman owned company that specialise on bags that you can alter into different styles. I have a Midi Curie which is a 3-in-1 bag.

Found these lovely trousers on a second hand store called Arkivet.

On Sunday morning I biked to a yoga class and then did some journaling. M and I had planned to go out in a park with some coffee but got caught in a rain storm (while the sun was still shining).

Remember that stress should not be you’re everyday life and it’s important to realise that. However, sometimes life gets busy and I think that it’s important to find what recovery means to you. It doesn’t have to be yoga or going out in nature or the other things that you get when you google “recovery”. If you want some more tips on how to live slowly this autumn check this!
